Bertso Jazza izenpean bertsolaritza eta jazza fusionatzen zuen ekitaldia izan zen atzo, Urtarrilak 22, Iruñako Gayarre antzokian. Jon Maia, Maialen Lujanbio, Andoni Egaña y Amets Arzallus bertsolarien eskutik, Unai Elizasuren sarrerekin eta Jon Piris, Julen Izarra, Bixente Martinez, Asier Holeaga y Asier Ituarte musikariekin jazza jo zuten bertsolarien hitzekin batera. Bob Marleyren “No woman, no cry” edota “Peio Joxepe”ren musika oiarri hartura, partaideak jazzaren arimaz inprobizazioari eta bertsolaritzari ekin zioten. Ekitaldi eder eta originala izan zen atzokoa, non erein egin zuten bi arte hauen etorkizun interesgarria.
Ayer 22 de Enero en el teatro Gayarre de Pamplona-Iruña tuvo lugar un interesantísimo concierto de bertsolarismo y jazz unidos en el espectáculo Bertso Jazza. De la mano de los bertsolaris; Jon Maia, Maialen Lujanbio, Andoni Egaña y Amets Arzallus, con las introducciones a los temas de Unai Elizasu y con los músicos; Jon Piris, Julen Izarra, Bixente Martinez, Asier Holeaga y Asier Ituarte se hizo jazz con la improvisación de las letras de los bertsolaris. Sobre melodías tan diversas como “No woman, no cry” de Bob Marley o tradicionales vascas como “Peio Joxepe” los participantes se dejaron llevar por la improvisación, el espíritu libre del jazz y la tradición oral del bertsolarismo. Una magnífica y original sesión que siembra un futuro muy interesante para ambas artes.
